Its summer time here at the moment and its been amazing. The temperatures are usually around 25-30 degrees Celsius…I came here originally for the sun, the centre of the world, and it delivers. We are right on the equator and the differences in the various parts of the country can be really quite different. On the Coast its humid and wet and in the Rift Valley where we live its a dry heat. Then there is the rainy season, that basically means down pours like monsoons. It rains so heavily that roads become rivers and reserves! So thats a round up on the weather in Kenya. Most of the year I live in shorts and tees so you could say everyday is a summers day…but then you get used to it, wrapping up in the colder months and forget how rainy and windy Wellington gets in winter!
